KYAMBOGO OPENS THE DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE ENTRY SCHEME FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025
In pursuit of academic excellence and inclusivity, Kyambogo University is pleased to announce the Diploma/Certificate Entry Scheme for the upcoming academic year 2024/2025. The Academic Registrar extends a warm invitation to prospective candidates holding Diplomas or Certificates in various fields to apply for undergraduate programs in the specified disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria: Prospective applicants must meet the following criteria for eligibility:
Possession of a Credit or Second Class or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes (5 subjects without a grade 9) or its equivalent.
A Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least one Principal Pass and Two Subsidiary Passes in the principal subjects obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
Please note that the Principal subjects required for admission to the Diploma must be passed at the Principal or Subsidiary levels.
Application Process:
Submit a non-refundable application fee of Shs. 50,000/= for Ugandans/East African Nationals and $30 for other International applicants, plus any bank charges, through any Banks connected to the ACMIS payment system.
Certified copies of Diploma/Certificate Transcripts (Not Photocopies of Certified Copies) from the awarding institutions and a Passport size photograph MUST be submitted to the Admissions Division Room 3 after the payment of application fees.
Important Information:
Only applicants with official Certified Academic Transcripts and Certificates will be considered for admission.
